Your application could obtain premium amounts, coverages, financial projections and other potential policy details for MetLife products by submitting the applicant’s information such as age, nationality, income, occupation via the MetLife Quote and Illustration Generator API.
API Selection Considerations
There are a few things to consider when deciding whether or not a particular MetLife API is right for you:
- How do you plan to use the API? We’ll need to know this up front to determine your support needs.
- We require testing in our sandbox environment.
- In the short term, you will need to periodically email status reports for audits/true-ups.

Invocation
Establishing a connection to our API is an easy process. We use a token-based access model to grant you access to our APIs. When registering, you’ll receive a client identifier for your organization and further instructions on how subscribe to our APIs. Read more on the API Integration Guide.
